About St. Paul Parish
  • We are proud of the growth and stability of our parish over the years as we've faced new challenges, especially shortages of priests. The faith, growth and spirituality of our youth and families keep us looking forward.
  • Fun Fact: In 1924, St. Paul's church was burned beyond repair (presumably from the KKK), and all was lost.  Creighton and Osmond Catholic churches helped minister to all until the new church was built. At that time, Mass was celebrated in the rectory with parishioners sitting on the stairway and front porch.
  • We want you to know that St. Paul's is a community, though small in number, that has a rich history of community involvement. It is seen not only within the parish, but also in the wider community as well, especially when it comes to caring for those in need.
  • Our most popular tradition is a spaghetti dinner to kick off our Lenten 40 days. It has been a family gathering that brings harmony to our parish. We also have an Lenten ecumenical prayer service with three other churches in our town. It is very inspiring!
  • Our most vibrant quality is ... Heartland Food Distribution comes to distribute food to low income families in our community.  St. Paul's sponsors this twice a year, and many of our members, young and old, volunteer.
