Give to Your Parish

Thank you for your interest in supporting Holy Spirit Catholic Parishes financially! We understand the value of stewardship by giving back our time, talents, and treasure. We have been blessed abundantly by God, and we believe that it is important to give back to Him. One way of expressing gratitude to Our Lord is by supporting your parish and its mission of encountering Jesus, making disciples, and transforming lives. It is through your generosity that our parishes and schools can continue to operate.

If you have any questions regarding donations or financial gifts, please feel free to contact our offices.

Stewardship must be a way of life for all Catholics. At Holy Spirit Catholic Parishes, all parishioners are encouraged to be generous with their time, talent, and treasure. The Church recommends to us the venerable tradition of tithing—giving away one-tenth of one’s gross income as “first fruits” offered to God in thanksgiving. The Bishops of the United States recommend dividing one’s tithe as follows:

  • 1% to one’s diocese
  • 4% to one’s parish
  • 5% to personal charities
Ways to Give (Weekly Giving)

There are a number of different ways to give to your parish or school.

Sunday Collection Envelopes

Parishioners at Holy Spirit Catholic Parishes receive a packet of stewardship envelopes in the mail on a quarterly basis to be used at the Offertory at Mass. These envelopes may be placed in the collection at any Mass location within our seven parish family and will be counted toward your parish collection.

Online Giving

Give online using a credit or debit card. Make one time or reaccuring gifts.  Instead of using an independent company for online giving, we utilize a portal run by the Archdiocese of Omaha where you can give online.  Be sure to select your parish, as 100% of funds donated will be transferred to your selected parish.

Giving to Other Parish/School Projects

In addition to one’s regular stewardship, one may wish to donate to a particular parish or school project. Likewise, it is not uncommon to donate some gift in memory of deceased loved one. All monetary donations are handled at the Parish Offices (see above). All non-monetary gifts should be presented to the pastor for his consideration and approval before being donated to the parish.

School Tuition

School tuition payments for
Holy Trinity preschool and elementary school are handled at the Holy Trinity Parish Office, rather than at the school office. Click the button below to download the automatic payment authorization form for school tuition.

Endowments

Our parishes maintain endowments for the financial support of our parishes.

Holy Trinity maintains three separate endowments. All monies donated to the parish endowments are invested as directed by the norms established by the Endowment Committee. The parish uses the interest earned from its “Parish” and “School” endowments as income in its annual budget. The interest earned from the “Scholarship” account is awarded as scholarships to families sending their children to our Catholic schools. Please keep our endowments in mind for your estate planning.
