Michael and Jane Donahoe and their children settled in Daily Township in the early 1870s. In September of 1874 they lost their nine month old daughter, Catherine Imelda. They buried her on a windy hill on their homestead. In 1883 a seven acre parcel of land containing this grave was sold by the Donahoes for $1.00 (one dollar) to Rev. James O'Connor and his Successors to be used for St. Patrick's Catholic Church and were not able to obtain an official church record. cemetery, known as Tara Hill.
