  3. The Lessee or individual is responsible for any and all damages excluding normal wear and tear.
  4. No decoration may be pinned or taped to any painted or wallpapered surface in St. Peters Parish Hall.
  5. Due to the difficulty of cleanup, glitter and confetti are not allowed as table decorations
  6. Throwing of rice or birdseed is not permitted.
  7. The St. Peters Parish Hall is a smoke-free facility.
  8. The Lessee must remain on the premises during the event and is responsible for the conduct of their guests, including minors.
  9. St. Peters Church is not responsible for damage, or injury caused by florists, DJs, bands, or other vendors contracted by the Lessee.
  10. Parking conditions are not guaranteed.
  11. Floors are to be swept and cleaned at the end of the event.
  12. During September through May, chairs and tables need to be arranged per diagram in Kitchen for Religious Formation classes and additional tables and chairs properly stored. From May to September tables and chairs should be replaced in rows and can remain set up.
  13. Garbage is to be removed from the hall and placed in the trash bins next to the rectory garage (use the side kitchen door). If the trash bins are full it is the Lessee's responsibility to remove any remaining garbage from premise.

The Archdiocese of Omaha requires the following two paragraphs to be included in this Rental Agreement:

  2. The contract is subject to immediate cancellation and in fact will be canceled if the rental space for wedding receptions is found to be for a marriage, which is not recognized as valid by the Roman Catholic Church. As a matter of policy, we will not rent space for wedding receptions, which celebrate an invalid union.
